Antique 1890s Levi Strauss & Co Button Relic - "Big E" Mining Era Hardware

$17.50

genuine 19th-century Levi Strauss & Co. button. This is an authentic "Big E" era piece (stamped in all capital letters), predating the 1906 San Francisco earthquake.

This shank-style button was standard equipment on the rugged "waist overalls" worn by miners, loggers, and laborers who built the American West.

Key Features:

• Authentic Typography: Bold, serifed "LEVI STRAUSS & CO" lettering in the classic circular 1890s-1900s arrangement.

• Found Condition: Retains a heavy, natural rust patina. It has not been cleaned, preserving its value for collectors of "found objects" and denim archeology.

• Construction: Heavy-duty steel shank design, built for survival in extreme working conditions.

Condition Note:

This item is being sold as a historical relic. It displays significant oxidation and wear consistent with an item that has been buried or exposed to the elements for over a century. A true piece of American history.

This relic was dug up in the southern Arizona Sonoran Desert, within a hundred mile proximity to Bisbee, AZ.
