Vintage 1939 Vulcan (L.D. Nilson) Ace-HY Double Acting Hydraulic Bumper Jack.  This vintage Hydraulic Bumper Jack is in Very Good Condition.  It works well, does not leak and has not been abused.  we have not cleaned or refurbished this jack in any manner other than to be able to read the Patents on the foot.  The embossed printing is in very good condition.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     All of the lettering is in embossed raised letters on the base of the jack.  It reads: “VULCAN MFG CO INC WINONA MINN”   “PATENTS CANADA 1939   USA 2106620   2146403  &  RE2112” (RE-ISSUE)    “ACE – HY” (ON OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE BASE)  (Note: We are including copies of the Patents with this jack)

It works by turning and loosening the handle and pumping it to raise it up and then turning and tightening the handle to lower it. 

Measurements:

  • 30" long when not extended 
  • 45" long when extended
  • Foot Base 5” x 3-1/4”  
  • The Adjustable Bumper Hook can be raised 14” on the Vertical Mast
