This Vintage Steampunk J. Chatillon & Sons Hanging Beam Type Scale has a Bronze beam and some steel hardware. The hook and sliding weight are also made of bronze. It is in very good condition. It measures 24-1/4" Overall Length. The scale markings are in very good condition and it is stamped *50* and "J. CHATILLON & SONS" on the front side of the body and *50* on the back side of the body. There are no broken pieces and there are no previous owner's ID marks or engraving on this scale.
The sliding weight is included, but the top hook for hanging the beam is missing the top hook for hanging the beam is missing. We have not cleaned or refurbished this scale in any manner, as we leave those decisions up to the eventual buyer.
