AMPCO Beryllium Copper W778C Double Ended Open End Wrench 1-13/16” x 2”, Used: This BERYLCO Beryllium Copper Double Ended Box Wrench is in very good condition.  It has seen very little if any use.  There are markings “USA77” from a previous owner very faintly scratched on one side of the 1-13/16” end.  It measures 18-3/4” OAL and weighs 8-1/2 lbs.  The 1-13/16” open end measures 1” in thickness and the 2” open end measures 1 11/64” in thickness.

We believe that it is made from Beryllium Copper because it is an older heavy duty wrench; however it may also be made from High Strength Nickel Aluminum Bronze, as there are no definitive markings on the wrench.

 It is a non-sparking tool that is used wherever combustible or flammable liquids, powders, dust, residue or other materials are used.  Other Beryllium tools are available upon request.  We have not cleaned or restored this shear in any manner.  Beryllium Copper can be very toxic as a dust and one should never use a wire wheel of buffing wheel on it.  It is very safe to use in its stabilized form.
