rare, high-trim Chrome Faceplate Ashtray Assembly for 5th Generation Ford F-Series trucks. This is a complete unit including the inner tray, outer housing, mounting bracket, and the functional ball-bearing slide tracks.
This chrome version was standard only on the Ranger, Ranger XLT, and Sport Custom trim packages.
Key Details:
• Functional Ball Bearings: Unlike the basic 1967 versions, this 68-72 model features the smooth ball-bearing slide system. The tracks are intact and the tray slides smoothly.
• Condition: Genuine vintage part with "survivor" patina. The chrome face has a nice shine but shows some light pitting consistent with 50+ years of age. No major dents or structural rust.
