This Unique 9" Flat Rectangular Parallel with 2 Clamps, Precision Tool , Wooden Case is in excellent condition. It comes in a fitted wooden case. It measures 9" long, 3/4" wide and 1/2" high. It features 2 rectangular grooves, one in the middle of each side for the hold down clamps to slide through. I also features 3 through cutouts on the flat side of the parallel. The Clamps are rounded top V-block style and have a capacity of 3/4" wide and 1/2" hight up to the curved part of the clamps. The internal height of the clamps is 11/16" from the parallel bar to the top of the arch.There are no manufacturer's or previous owner's markings on this precision tool. It may have been handmade by a MASTER MACHINIST, but you cannot tell this by looking at the parallel or the clamps. The wooden case is also very precision made. It is made of hardwood with and features a dovetailed sliding cover with a finger indent and a felt lines fitted interior to hold the parallel. FREE SHIP
