Vintage Stanley No. 53½ Folding Rule – 24” Boxwood & Brass Carpenter’s Tool

vintage Stanley No. 53½ carpenter’s folding rule, a 24” two-foot, two-fold design made of boxwood with brass joints and end caps.

The rule shows wear and patina consistent with its age but remains legible and folds properly. The Stanley No. 53½ marking is still visible.

These boxwood and brass folding rules were popular with carpenters and tradesmen in the late 1800s and early 1900s, and they are now prized by tool collectors.
