This Vintage COLE TOOL MFG Blacksmith No11 Post Vise Anvil ST. ANNE ILLINOIS does not have a lead screw, screw nut, spring or bar. The jaws, anvil and body are in EXCELLENT condition. If you look at the pictures you will see that the vise jaws and pipe jaws are not worn or abused. The vise jaws have not been peened or chipped and they close parallel and mesh with each other. The rest of the vise is in similar condition. This will make a wonderful replacement for someone who has a similar vise in poor condition, but with a good lead screw assembly. (or for someone who can fabricate the assembly) We have not cleaned or refurbished this Blacksmith No11 Post Vise Anvil in any manner, as we leave those decisions up to the eventual buyer.
