Freud 2 1/8” Carbide Forstner Style Heavy Duty Wood Boring Bit, Italian, NEW: This # 06218 heavy duty 2 1/8” boring bit is from an older inventory in our warehouse. This line of bits was discontinued by Freud. This boring bit is 6” overall length and features a ½” x 2” reduced shank. The body of the rest of the shank is 15mm. The boring head features two 1/8” thick carbide cutters with a carbide spur in the middle. It also features two carbide followers opposite the cutting blades. Because of its rigidity this heavy duty cutter allows you to bore deep precision hole in all types of wood (hard and soft), composition materials, plywood and solid surface materials.
